During a live broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eun-ji’s Gayo Plaza on May 20, i-dle’s Shuhua stunned both listeners and fellow members with a blunt but humorous comment about her mood—and her strict dieting routine.
Appearing alongside i-dle’s members, Shuhua opened up during the group’s radio guest appearance to promote their new music and rebranding.

When leader Soyeon jokingly commented, “You’ve cut out flour lately—your personality seems so much better now,” Shuhua didn’t hold back.
“I don’t have a good personality. I’m already annoyed just being here,” she said flatly, prompting the studio to burst into laughter rather than shock.

Host Lee Eun-ji lightened the mood further, noting, “Cutting carbs will definitely make anyone more sensitive. But your energy seems great today.” Shuhua quipped in her signature deadpan tone, “I’m just tensing my whole body to get through this,” drawing even more laughs.
Shuhua later revealed she’s been strictly managing her diet and exercise, even admitting with a playful pout, “I got jealous just watching Minnie unnie eat today.”

Meanwhile, i-dle recently rebranded from (G)I-DLE, dropping the “(G)” to embrace a more inclusive, gender-neutral identity. Marking this new era, they released conceptual content like “for (G)” and their special album “We are i-dle,” featuring tracks like “Good Thing” and “Girlfriend.”
With bold lyrics and a retro-8-bit sound crafted by Soyeon, “Good Thing” highlights the group’s evolving artistry—further amplified by Shuhua’s unfiltered charm and individuality.
